Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - JERUSALEM — The Israeli military has said it struck Iran’s presidential office and the building housing the Supreme National Security Council in Tehran, marking another major escalation in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict.

"The Israeli Air Force... struck and dismantled facilities within the leadership compound of the Iranian terrorist regime in the heart of Tehran" overnight, the military said, according to the French news agnecy AFP.

"During the strike on the compound, numerous munitions were dropped on the presidential office and the building of the Supreme National Security Council," it added.

The missile and drone exchange between Israel and Iran escalated as the conflict entered its fourth day on Tuesday.
