BEIJING, March 2 — Six men suffered minor injuries after a suspected mechanical failure caused an explosion at a government dockyard in Hong Kong’s Stonecutters Island today, public broadcaster RTHK reported.
The explosion occurred at around 10am (0200 GMT/10am Malaysian time), RTHK said, adding that all six injured were taken to hospital and police were investigating the cause of the incident. — Reuters
