Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - NEW DELHI — A devastating fire at a chemical factory in the Indian state of Rajasthan on Monday left at least seven workers dead and several others trapped.
The incident occurred on Monday morning, in the Khushkhera industrial area and triggered a large-scale rescue operation, state-owned Doordarshan News reported.
Officials said emergency teams rushed to the site in Bhiwadi city, Khushkhera district, shortly after the blaze was reported.
A fire department official in Khushkhera confirmed a rescue operation is underway and at least two workers are believed to be trapped inside.
