A video clip showed shocking moments in which a 19-year-old girl was kidnapped in broad daylight by her ex-boyfriend and dragged into a truck against her will.

Angel Lynn was later found with serious head injuries, as she fell from the car while traveling on the highway at a speed of 60 miles, according to media reports.

The video was used as a witness at the trial, where her kidnappers received prison terms of more than nine years.

The accident occurred at 10:45 am on September 17, 2020 in Leicestershire, England. The clip was shown to the jury this week during the trial at Leicester Crown Court, and the Leicestershire Police Department also issued a press release detailing the events.

Chai Boskill, a friend of the victim, was convicted Wednesday of coercive conduct and perverting the course of justice. The second man, Rocco Sansom, who can also be seen in the video, was convicted of the kidnapping. Buskel was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison while Sansom was sentenced to 21 months.

Chief Investigative Officer, Chief Inspector Tony Yarwood, spoke of the serious injuries Lynn suffered from the two men.

“Angel is a young woman with plans and aspirations and because of the scale of her injuries, she now faces ongoing medical treatment and around-the-clock care,” Yarwood said.
“Her family is still devastated by what happened and I commend the strength and courage they showed and are still to this day.”
