The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates topped the list of the best countries to live during the Corona epidemic, in the periodic classification that Bloomberg puts in place to monitor countries efforts to combat the pandemic, according to what Al Arabiya reported.

While Omicron caused the largest outbreak of the virus since the pandemic began more than two years ago, many countries have emerged “most determined to live with the virus and reopen their economies,” as the January rankings report.

The report says that the moderation of Omicron’s risk and the spread of vaccines that curbed deaths, allowed many countries from the United Kingdom to Thailand, and from Ireland to Finland to remove restrictions within weeks, and raise their scores in the “Bloomberg” classification of the best and worst places where the epidemic is located.

This classification takes into account the high vaccination rates, and the positive economic outlook, in light of Corona.

The Corona virus has caused the death of at least 5,614,118 people in the world since it appeared in China in December 2019.

The United States recorded the highest number of deaths from the virus (872,126), followed by Brazil (623,843), India (491,127) and Russia (328,105).

The World Health Organization estimates that the total number of deaths may be two to three times higher, taking into account the increased number of deaths directly and indirectly related to the epidemic.
