The UAE ambassador to Washington, Yousef Al-Otaiba, announced that the United States had contributed to thwarting the Houthi missile attack on Abu Dhabi, calling on the US side to classify them as a terrorist group.
Al-Otaiba said, in a statement he made today, Monday, and reported by the Emirati embassy: “The close Emirati-American cooperation contributed to repelling another round of terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia this morning in the UAE.”
Al-Otaiba added: “The next step: stopping the financial and arms flows to the Houthis from the parties supporting them, and the United States should move now to return the Houthis to the list of terrorism.”

On Monday morning, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis, the remnants of which fell in separate areas around the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the attack did not lead to casualties.
