The leader of the “Ansar Allah” Houthi movement in Yemen, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, condemned Britain’s designation of the “Hamas” movement as a terrorist organization.
Al-Houthi said in a tweet on Twitter: “We condemn the classification of “Hamas” as terrorism, although it is not surprising from Britain, the founder of the occupation.”
He added: “When it coincides with the passage of the criminal Balfour Declaration, it is a confirmation of Britain’s continuing to terrorize the victim and support the criminal entity.”
He continued, “We are certain that the classification is political and represents nothing but the determination of the Hamas leadership and its supporters to continue liberating Jerusalem and all of Palestine.”
And British Home Secretary Priti Patel announced that she had “taken measures to ban the “Hamas” movement in the United Kingdom.”
“Hamas has tangible terrorist capabilities, including access to a vast and advanced arsenal of weapons and facilities to train terrorists,” she wrote on Twitter.
