Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar
Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar affirmed today, Tuesday, that his country is determined and able to protect its rights and interests, along with Turkish Cyprus, in the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas.
During his speech in Parliament, Hulusi Akar said: “We are determined and able to protect the rights and interests of both Turkey and Turkish Cyprus in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean.”
The Minister of Defense also pointed to “Turkey’s well-intentioned calls for dialogue with Greece,” stressing that “Ankara responds with diplomacy and on the ground to Athens’ unjust and illegal practices.”
