After a two-year friendship, Paris Hilton married her boyfriend, Carter Ryome, in what she described as a “true mythical wedding”.
Hilton, 40, was engaged to businessman Ryome, who is the same age as her, in February.
Hilton published the details of the wedding, which took place in Los Angeles on Thursday in a blog, in which she said she did not believe that she had finally become a wife.
“I finally kiss my prince and the lasting happiness I’ve been dreaming of since my early childhood years begins,” she wrote.
She tweeted the phrase “wife for life” alongside pictures of the lace wedding dress by Oscar de la Renta.
Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie and Paula Abdul were among the guests who attended the party at her lavish family mansion. Celebrity website TMZ reported that singer Demi Lovato performed at the party, during which Hilton changed her outfits four times.
Hilton, granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, shot to fame on the newspaper half-pages via a leaked tape in 2001.
She later starred in the TV reality show “A Simple Life” and is currently filming a reality series called “This is Paris”.
Its business empire currently includes a perfume line, department stores and other products.
Paris Hilton has been engaged three times before to actor Chris Zylka in 2018, shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005 and model Jason Shaw in 2002.
