Jordan’s King Abdullah II received Prime Minister Najib Mikati, this afternoon, at Al Husseiniya Palace in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The Royal Hashemite Court broadcast the following statement: “King Abdullah II received today, Sunday, the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati at Al Husseiniya Palace.
The meeting dealt with the distinguished fraternal relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples, and mechanisms for expanding cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, His Majesty the King reiterated Jordan’s continued support for Lebanon and its brotherly people.
They also discussed the crises in the region and efforts to reach political solutions to them.
The meeting was attended by the Jordanian Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, and the Director of the King’s Office, Dr. Jaafar Hassan.
