Nassar Habashneh, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the country, praised the UAE’s hosting of the latest version of the World Expo and the efforts made by the country in organizing the exceptional global event, stressing that Expo 2020 Dubai is a pride for all Arabs.
In exclusive statements yesterday, during the opening of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s pavilion at the global event, he said: “Expo 2020 Dubai dazzled the world with the enormous potential, capabilities and energies that the UAE possesses in various aspects.”
He pointed out that the pavilions participating in this important historical event embody on the ground the values of effective and constructive communication between the various peoples of the world, and it is a real window for intellectual communication and the development of the creative and innovative spirit among young people from different countries of the world.
He added that this global carnival is truly an opportunity to exchange different ideas, cultures and opinions in an atmosphere of tolerance, love and brotherhood.
Habashneh said: “Through this huge global event, the UAE looks forward to instilling the values of tolerance among different peoples,” pointing out that the UAE includes more than 200 nationalities from different countries of the world.
He explained that the choice of this large number of nationalities to live and settle in the UAE reflects the wise leadership’s interest in upholding the values of tolerance, coexistence and human brotherhood since the establishment of the union.
He praised the efforts of the Expo 2020 Dubai team and the success it achieved in organizing the historic opening ceremony in an impressive manner, stressing that this successful organization reflects the prestigious position the country has reached and its ability to organize such huge global events.
He stressed that the UAE always strives for first place, and this is not surprising for a country that raised the slogan of challenge in the face of all difficulties.
