Hackers infiltrate the Hezbollah bank … and leak information!

Cyber ​​hackers infiltrated the accounts of the Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation, affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah. The pirates called themselves “Spiderz” and published lists of borrowers and depositors in every branch of the association, which considers Hezbollah’s bank in Lebanon and a major source of its financing and money laundering, which is included on the US sanctions lists.They also revealed details related to loan value, repayment rate, personal information on borrowers, and the budget of branches and the institution for the years 2019 and 2020. And they promised to reveal more information in the future.

The pirates demanded that borrowers and depositors who deal with the “good loan” not pay and withdraw their money, boycott Hezbollah’s parallel economy and its extortion of state resources, which contributed to the country’s economic collapse.

The hacking operation revealed the accounts of Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation in the Jammal Trust Bank, which had been subjected to US sanctions in 2019 for providing financial services to Hezbollah.The opening of the “Good Loan” goes back to the eighties of the last century, when it was registered as a charitable association, while today it provides loans of about 500 million dollars to more than 200 thousand borrowers, as it gives financial loans in dollars in exchange for mortgaging gold, or placing similar amounts to it in value.

The hackers promised, via video, to publish more information in the next phase about Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association and other institutions affiliated with Hezbollah.
