YouTuber goes live to show the corpse of his pregnant girlfriend:...

Last Thursday, 3, Russian YouTuber Stas Reshetnikov, 30, owner of the ReeFlay channel, was arrested after performing live next to the corpse of his girlfriend, Valentina Grigoryeva, 28, who was pregnant. During the broadcast, the man interacted with the viewers saying things like: “My bunny, it looks like you’re dead” and “Companions, without a pulse”. YouTuber still forced a fake cry when he said that his girlfriend had probably died.

Upon realizing the absurd situation, some Internet users called the police. YouTuber himself would also have called the emergency. An ambulance soon arrived, but Valya, as she was known, was already dead. According to the newspaper The Sun, the police work with the hypothesis of homicide. According to local authorities, Stas would have forced the woman to stay in lingerie on the balcony of the apartment, to attract an audience for the live. Because of the negative temperature, the Russian would have died of hypotemia. In no time, he stopped the transmission. On the contrary! The more audience he had, the more the murder was recorded.

On another occasion, Reshetnikov reportedly attacked his girlfriend with pepper spray, just to fulfill a “challenge” given by his followers, the same ones who follow the Russian influencer Andrey Burim, followed by thousands of people and who, in October this year, assaulted a model at a party, also just to satisfy a personal pleasure in “showing power”.

The recent case involving the death of Valentina Grigoryeva has sparked uproar in Russia. The population asks for some kind of law for the so-called “real online violence”, as it seems to be quite common among “content creators” (what content ?!) from the country.
