Alexis Sharkey: – Husband: – It’s cruel

Earlier this week, See and Hear wrote about 26-year-old Alexis Sharkey, an American influencer who had been found dead on a roadside in Houston, Texas.

Last Saturday, she was supposed to meet some friends for a movie night, but never showed up. It would later turn out that she instead lay naked on a roadside – dead.

The police have launched an investigation into the case, but have not yet concluded anything. They have also not commented on a potential motive, or whether there are any potential suspects.

Found dead on the roadside

The cause of death is not yet known, but a spokesman for the Harris County Department of Forensic Science said a preliminary autopsy report could not rule out a crime, according to People.

The 26-year-old’s body was thus found on a roadside on Saturday morning, by a passing truck driver.

Denies marital problems

Both the 26-year-old’s friends and family have subsequently expressed great sadness after the loss, and both the mother and a friend have spoken to news channels.

Also the grieving husband, Tom Sharkey (49), has shared a number of posts on Facebook, where he expresses great sadness.

Alexis moved to Houston with her husband in January this year. Her friend, Tanya Ricardo, told KHOU11 that Alexis and Tom had been going through a difficult period in their marriage recently.

– Recently, she opened up to us about it, and said that divorce papers had been delivered. She was a very private person. She did not share much of what happened at home, she said.

However, the husband denies that there were any problems in the marriage. However, he believes that his wife had been stressed lately.

– I tried to give her hugs to make her strong. She was a fantastic woman, he tells KTRK-TV.

Receives death threats

Furthermore, the 49-year-old points out that there are always two sides to a case, and that he wants to let the investigation of his wife’s death go his way.

The widower also points out that he is completely devastated after the loss of his wife. The 26-year-old is said to have left the couple’s joint home on Friday night after what is said to have been an argument, according to her mother.

– We did not argue when she left. I just told her she could not drive under the influence of drugs. She left anyway, he says.

“Big Brother” star (47) found dead

The case has received massive attention in the last week, which has resulted in a lot of focus also being directed at the husband.

In comment fields below several of his posts on Facebook, several point out that the statistics say that it is almost always the husband who is to blame in such cases. As a result, Sharkey has received death threats, he says.

– It’s awful. People talk a lot of shit. I get death threats and everything. None of that bothers me. What bothers me is that the world and everyone involved in this focuses on things that do not matter, when they should rather focus on finding my wife, he tells KTRK-TV.

In conclusion, the 49-year-old says that he feels confident that the police will find all those who have been involved in the case.

As mentioned, both the mother and her friend Tanya Ricardo have spoken after the death. On Facebook, the mother wrote a post, in which she expressed great sadness.

“It’s with heavy hearts that Mike and I have to tell you that Lexi’s body has been found. We can not begin to thank you enough for all the love and kind words. Please give us this time to mourn this incredible loss for the family and this world. We will miss you, dear, “she wrote.

The mother also stated that she is absolutely certain that her daughter has been killed.

– I think she was killed, yes. I learned early on as a mother that I had to trust my motherly instinct. It has not failed me, she told KHOU11.

The star (21) died

Ricardo stated that she feels confident that the culprit or culprits will be found.

-I do not know who may have done something like this to her. No matter who did it, we’ll find them. We will do everything necessary so that everyone can let her rest in peace, said her friend, Tanya, and added:

– To just throw her in the edge of the ditch like that, naked, like rubbish… I do not understand. Nobody gets away with anything like that. No.

Three other friends of Alexis’s have stated to ABC13 that the 26-year-old feared for her own life and safety in the period before she was found dead. They also believe she was killed, but it should be pointed out that the police have not yet drawn any conclusions about the cause of the tragic death.
