36-year-old Svetlana Sorochinskaya dreamed of finally becoming a mother. The Russian woman suffered a miscarriage in the past. Now she was pregnant again.

On November 8th, her son Kirej was born in St. Petersburg by caesarean section. While she was on a ventilator. A day later, the woman died as a result of the corona virus, reports the “Fontanka” portal.

Particularly tragic: practically at the same time, the parents of the 36-year-old died. Also after a corona infection.

Sorochinskaja’s father was in hospital for a heart operation. «Swetlana and her mother Vera visited him in the hospital. I think they were all infected there », says the deceased’s cousin, Larissa Katschkajewa (33).

On October 28, the father was allowed to go home again. Two days later he developed a high fever. The 64-year-old was immediately taken to the hospital. He died on November 5th. The unknown man is said to be a work colleague of the 36-year-olds. Sorochinskaya worked at the reception of a dental clinic, the man was employed as security. Her cousin told her about him before.
