President Donald Trump still does not recognize the election results. He made that abundantly clear during an interview on Fox News.

Despite incoming President Joe Biden garnering over 80 million votes, over six million more than President Trump’s 74 million votes, the president refuses to give up.

Trump has repeatedly claimed that the presidential election was permeated by cheating and fraud, and denies the result.

His campaign has tried to go to court by filing a series of lawsuits in the tipping states. So far, they have drawn or lost over 30 lawsuits, according to CNBC.

The ultimate goal is to get the cases heard by the Supreme Court, where the Conservatives have a majority.

In his first television interview since election day, President Donald Trump expressed uncertainty about whether the Supreme Court will take his cases at all.

– Which cases will go to the Supreme Court?

– The problem is that it is difficult to get there, I have the best lawyers who say they will argue there, but they say it is difficult.

Fox News presenter Maria Bartiromo also asks the president if he thinks there is a way to victory for him.

– We should be heard by the Supreme Court, something must come up there – if not, what is this? With the most cheating ever in a presidential election, the president reasoned on live TV.

President Trump has repeatedly repeated the same allegations of electoral fraud, and is also aware that it is impossible for him to lose.

He justifies this with the fact that he led on election night, and that that leadership shrank sharply and disappeared over the days that followed.

It was expected that this was the way the election would go, as it takes time to count postal votes, and that the Democrats would use postal votes to a much greater extent than the Republicans due to the ongoing pandemic.

There are a number of important dates between election day November 3, 2020 and the day the president is sworn in on January 20, 2021.

On December 14, voters in their state will vote. On December 23, these votes must be handed over to a number of government officials, and on January 6, Congress will meet to count the votes and declare the election results.

Bartiromo asks the president when he thinks the final deadline for the lawsuits is.

The lawyers for the Trump campaign have also been hit hard.

Attorney Sidney Powell, whom Trump has previously referred to as one of his lawyers, said in an interview with the conservative TV channel NewsMax that both Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger had been given money to tamper with the results.

When Conservative presenter Tucker Carlson on Fox News asked Powell to provide evidence, she refused, according to USA Today.

Powell herself says in a statement to NBC that she understands the statement, and that she will continue to fight against what she calls “massive election fraud”.
