Dominion Voting Systems strongly refuted baseless claims by former lawyer Sidney Powell that the cabinet intervened in the election to the detriment of the incumbent operator.

The election technology company criticized Ms. Powell’s “bizarre electoral fraud plot” in a statement Thursday.

Ms Powell, with whom the White House severed ties earlier this week, falsely claimed the Dominion transferred millions of votes to President-elect Joe Biden.

She also unfoundedly claimed that the company had ties to the Clinton Foundation and George Soros, the Jewish-born financier and philanthropist.

The Communists of Venezuela, Cuba and China are all part of the conspiracy to expel Mr. Trump from the White House, she said.

Dominion countered those claims in her statement after Ms Powell produced what the company said “appears to be a very rough draft of a lawsuit” against officials in Georgia, where Mr Biden’s victory has been confirmed as a result of ‘a recount.

For the plot to be possible, Dominio said, it would require “the collaboration of thousands of participants, including state officials.”

“Local bipartisan election officials, thousands of volunteer poll observers on election day” – and a host of other election technology companies should have been involved, the company added.

“It just didn’t happen.”

Ms Powell on Wednesday launched lawsuits in Michigan and Georgia against “massive voter fraud,” but did not name Dominion as a defendant in either.

The defendants are locally elected officials, although there are references to Dominion in court documents.

The Michigan case was closed, Business intern reported, but the status of the Georgia complaint could not be verified, the outlet added.
