One of US President Donald Trump’s supporters is facing criminal charges after being caught coughing at someone without a mask – and it happened on a property of the president himself. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that Raymond Deskins, 61, was charged with assault and was released on subpoena after someone got help from a magistrate.
All of this follows what was captured on video this weekend at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, VA – just outside DC – when a man, believed to be Deskins, is seen arguing with a protester and then coughing hard on it. The video was shared on social media and sparked outrage among followers.
In the clip, the man is not wearing a mask or any type of facial protection. And he seems to cough exaggeratedly at the woman after she complains about him being too close to her and expressing concerns about Covid-19. The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors told the tabloid – since the officers were not there and did not see what happened first hand – that they could not punish either of them because both parties alleged aggression.

As a temporary solution, the man and woman in the video were instructed to go to a police station and get a warrant for themselves. Apparently, only the woman got one and it is unclear what prompted Deskins’ allegation of aggression against her.
