Davy Klaassen injured off the field against Heracles

Davy Klaassen has had to stop the match against Heracles Almelo prematurely. The midfielder did not get out of a duel with Rai Vloet well and had to be replaced by Jurgen Ekkelenkamp after more than twenty minutes.

Quite early in the match Klaassen and Vloet got into a duel. In addition, the Ajax player was hit by the Heraclied, which he no longer overcame. It is not yet clear how serious the injury is.

Klaassen is the third player who is now injured after Antony and Mohamed Kudus, with the Champions League match against FC Midtjylland approaching. The timing gets worse, if possible, in view of the rest of the busy schedule up to the winter break. Ajax will play ten matches in the next 31 days.
