Members of the Peruvian team demand the resignation of Manuel Merino

The night of Saturday 14 and early morning of Sunday 15 will, unfortunately, remain on the record of the country, since the de facto Government of Manuel Merino caused the death of two young people who attended the national march against the coup d’état perpetuated on November 9 of this 2020.

The demonstrations were not only seen in the streets and houses with saucepans on balconies, social networks also played an important role in expressing the position of the majority of citizens, including the members of the Peruvian team.

Making it clear that at this time there is nothing more important than the well-being of the nation, the members of the White-red they spoke on their virtual platforms to demand that the former president of Congress end the internal conflict.

“Merino resigns now”, was the phrase most used by the players of the Peruvian team and Renato Tapia was the first to reveal it. From the first day of the march, he showed his support and after the murders were unleashed, he shared: “Enough,” he said with a black ribbon.

Minutes later, Christofer Gonzales, Raúl Ruidíaz, Edison Flores, José Carvallo, Anderson Santamaría, Aldo Corzo, Andy Polo, Marcos López and Christian Ramos used Instagram to show their position and demand that the de facto government of Manuel Merino.

I’m from the neighborhood, I didn’t have the best education, but they taught me the rights, the values ​​that make me be like all the people who fight every day and more now.
