Police have arrested four minors on suspicion of involvement in a fire that destroyed a theater building in Utrecht during the night from Friday to Saturday.
The suspects are sixteen and seventeen years old and come from Maarssen and Vleuten. The police are investigating the exact involvement of the four in the fire.
The fire started around 2.35 am in a building of the Nieuw Utrechts Toneel (NUT) in Utrecht’s Leidsche Rijn district. The fire brigade has managed to prevent the fire from spreading to an adjacent construction site with several vehicles.
The fire was almost under control around 4.15 am. According to a spokesperson for the fire service, there was no one in the building during the fire.
