The funeral of a woman and her two children who were found dead in their Dublin home has taken place.
The bodies of 37-year-old Seema Banu and her 11-year-old daughter Asfira Syed and six-year-old son Faizan Syed were found in south Dublin last week.
Gardai have opened a murder investigation into her death.
The scene at Llywellen Court in Ballinteer was cordoned off for several days as investigators searched the area.
At the Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland in Clonskeagh, prayers were said for a mother and two children.
The three coffins sat side by side in the center as Imam Hussein Halawa said a series of prayers prior to their funeral.
The bodies were taken to Newcastle Cemetery where they were laid to rest.
Gardai said details of the post-mortem results were not disclosed for operational reasons.
Affected neighbors sounded the alarm before noon on Wednesday October 28, and Gardai made the grim discovery when they arrived at the scene.
Gardai urged the public not to divulge uninformed information publicly, saying it was not helpful to the investigation.
Dozens of locals held a candlelight vigil in front of the family home hours after their bodies were found.

Gardai has urged anyone with information about the deaths to contact the investigation team at Dundrum Garda Station 01-6665600, Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or a Garda Station.
