A total of 1456 new cases of infection have now been registered in Oslo in the last 14 days.

City councilor Raymond Johansen has announced that the city council will tighten, as also Prime Minister Erna Solberg called for on Thursday:

– The infection situation is serious in Europe, and we are now seeing a sharp increase in infection in Norway as well. The City Council will therefore tighten further in Oslo, says Raymond Johansen according to a press release from Oslo Municipality.

Stoves with the highest infection pressure

Stovner is the district with the most registered infected in relation to the population. 127 infected people have been registered there in the last two weeks, which means 381.2 new infected people per 100,000 inhabitants. Then comes the district Søndre Nordstrand with 142 infected, which means 363.5 infected per 100,000 inhabitants.

Nordre Aker is the district with the fewest registered infected in relation to the population. There have been 51 registered infections in the last two weeks, which means 97.5 new cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants. The district Østensjø has the second fewest with 59 cases of infection, which means 116.1 new cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants.

Most people in the age group 20–29 are still infected, with 359 cases in the last two weeks. In the age group 30 to 39 years, 288 cases of infection have been reported.

There are slightly more men (727) than women (683) who are registered as infected.
