While America anxiously waits, voters find a little laughter in memes...

IIt is the third day of election week and we are no more clear about who the president will be than we were on day one. We’re all on an emotional roller coaster ride: with Donald and Joe Biden, many of us are waiting, refreshing the internet and hoping to get out of our misery.

But amid the hourly updates of “No news yet,” the internet has turned to what the internet does best: memes, of course. Here’s what made us laugh.

It’s rap for Trump’s spiritual advisor

In the long wait for the vote, the Trump team appears to have invested in some alternative remedies – not herbal, no, but spiritual. Trump’s spiritual advisor Paula White led a passionate prayer service last night that also included speaking in tongues. What she might not realize was that a few hours later she would be speaking on the Internet in four by four beats.

Nevada deserves its own section

Nevada has, shall we say, a quirk in its voting process, which means that it takes the night off between ballots. This, along with technical issues and delays, means people are standing on the edge of their seats while waiting for the Nevada outcome, and the elections are pending.

Some have reached out to memes to voice their suspicions and asked what exactly it is taking Nevada so long.

Others simply wonder if Nevada’s vote count is done using some eccentric counting methods.

Whatever the method, we all hope for a Tyra Banks-style result.

An HBO worthy choice

As Trump repeatedly tweeted STOP THE COUNT (at times when stopping the count makes him a loser); and his followers fight to ensure that the vote doesn’t count in areas where he wins (and areas where he loses). Someone remembered an eerily memorable episode of Veep. Life, imitation, art and all that.

Which wouldn’t be complete without a conspiracy theorist

The media cover it up, the Biden family is stealing this election and this guy just wants BBQ, beer and freedom and scream about it on the local news. But not without the internet automatically voting it first.

Do you remember when times were easier?

This one isn’t funny, but strangely heartwarming. With Trump now suing the vote in multiple states, it’s hard not to get entirely nostalgic about easier times … like when the loser lost earlier and just accepted it.
