Have you grabbed one of Apple’s 5G-enabled iPhone 12s? Well, here are a few ideas on where to start once you have put it through its paces.
The world’s largest iPhone will go on sale on Friday for pre-order customers. If you’re thinking about waiting a minute if the new iPhones don’t hit stores in October, you haven’t read the fine print. Two of the four new iPhones, the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro, were actually released last month. But Apple may have kept the best for last when it comes to the phone that photographers drool over. This model is the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Pre-orders for this phone – and the fourth – the Mini, which opens at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, but will be in stores on Friday, November 13th.
In the meantime, many large technical articles are also being prepared for launch.
Apple’s HomePod Mini, which is set to rival the first speakers from Amazon Echo and Google Nest Audio with Apple’s first speaker for $ 99, is also on sale Friday for release on the 13th.

And the battle of the newest video game units is slated for next week as well, but good luck finding it. Sony’s PlayStation 5 (starting at $ 399) is retired Tuesday, November 10, while Microsoft’s Xbox Series X ($ 499) is available for Thursday, November 12. Both are pre-sold out, but stores in desperate need of customers might surprise fans with equipment in stock next week.

The iPhone 12 Mini is a pint version with a 5.4-inch screen for those who fear that iPhones have gotten too big. (It also has the lowest price on the new 12 line, starting at $ 699.)

“It’s great,” said DPReview of the iPhone 12, “but the Max should be even better:” Specifically, Apple promises a 47% larger image sensor and also large pixels, which means higher resolution photos, an advanced image stabilizer for smooth shots, and a more advanced telephoto lens.
The focal length is 65 mm, compared to the 52 mm range of the other iPhones with an expanded “telephoto” range. Many professionals use a 24mm-70mm zoom lens on their DSLR and mirrorless cameras to cover events. With the three lenses on the iPhone, the ultra-wide lens hits about 20mm, which means a small iPhone is the equivalent of what many photographers spend $ 1,000 on the accessory lens.
There are now only two new big autumn tech products announced. Google’s Pixel 4a (5G), a $ 499 version of a phone originally released in the summer that connects to the new 5G wireless networks, is slated for November 19th.
Amazon’s third generation Echo Show 10, which has a rotating case that moves as video chatters spread across the room, continues to be listed as “Coming Soon” on the Amazon website. The device sells for $ 249. Finally, on Tuesday, Apple will unveil new MacBook laptops powered by the same Apple-made processor chips that power iPhones and iPads. But still not a word about a release date.
