Sindika Dokolo, 48, was born in Kinshasa, in former Zaire, now the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Married to the businesswoman and daughter of former Angolan president José Eduardo dos Santos since 2002, Dokolo is said to have been a victim of cardiac arrest and drowning, according to several Congolese media.
