Contrary to what had been predicted by the Minister of Health, the maximum number of inpatients in intensive care on April 10 (272) was not exceeded yesterday or today, with the bulletin registering 269 ICU admissions (+7) in addition to 1,834 hospitalizations outside these units (+40).
There are 2,490 active cases and since yesterday, 1,701 people have been recovered.
Confirmed cases are distributed across all age groups, with the highest number of infections between 20 and 59 years of age.
In total, the new coronavirus has already affected at least 60,271 men and 72,345 women in Portugal, according to the declared cases.
Of the total number of fatalities, 1,242 were men and 1,186 women.
The largest number of deaths continues to be concentrated in people over 80 years of age.
