Fayza Haidar (36 years old) became the first Egyptian coach accredited by the English Football Association to be among the Egyptian ambassadors in England with Mohamed Salah, El Niny, Trezeguet and El Mohamady, and Stoke City’s scorer, Sarah Essam.
She also became the first coach to lead a men’s soccer team in the fourth division league in Egypt, after contracting to coach Ideal Goldie club, based in Giza.
Fayza began practicing football at the age of five as a hobby, until she joined Helwan Club in 1997, after which she was chosen to represent the Egyptian junior women’s team, and played the first match with the national team in the African Nations Qualifiers in 1998.
At the age of 19, she moved to the club as a professional player in 2003, and with the Egyptian national team won fifth place in the African Nations Championship in Cameroon in 2016.
She started her coaching career through several qualifying courses in the field of training, until she became a certified trainer by the English Football Association, to train the Egypt Women of Determination national team, before she was the first coach for a men’s team in Egypt.
