A Sydney student has been charged with alleged sexual assault on two teenage girls in the past two years.
The 15-year-old boy, who attends Cranbrook School in Bellevue Hill, is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Bondi last August.
He is said to have attacked the second girl – a 15-year-old – this year.
The second alleged attack also took place in Bondi.
The boy was arrested in Paddington last month and taken to Waverley Police Station where he was charged.
“In July 2020, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crime Squad opened an investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a then 15-year-old girl in Bondi,” NSW police said in a statement.
“In the course of the investigation, the police opened further investigations into reports. A second girl, then 14 years old, was allegedly sexually assaulted in Bondi in August 2019. “
He was accused of two cases of deliberately sexually touching a child between 10 and 16 years of age, having sexual intercourse with a child between 10 and 16 years of age, and deliberately sexually touching a child between 10 and 16 years of age (DV). and have sex with children aged 10 to 16 (DV).
The 15-year-old was also charged with trying to influence witnesses to obtain an acquittal.
