Abdullah Anzurov, the fighter of the French professor, Samuel Bate, posted an audio message in Russian on social media on October 16, near Paris, after he posted a photo of his victim, according to what AFP reported on Wednesday, citing a source close to the file.

In this documented recording, Anzurov, a Chechen born in Moscow, with a poor Russian accent, said that it was “revenge for the Prophet,” blaming the history and geography teacher for showing him “in an insulting way.”

The French counter-terrorism prosecutor, Jean-Francois Ricard, had revealed earlier, Wednesday, that the teacher’s students had revealed the identity of the murderer in exchange for money.

Ricard added that the attacker could not identify the teacher without the students’ assistance.

Patty, 47, was attacked by a Chechen refugee while on his way home from his school in Conflans-Saint-Honorine, 40 km northwest of Paris.

And the French President, Emmanuel Macron, decided, on Tuesday, to dissolve the “Ahmed Yassin” group loyal to Hamas, due to the incident.

The French counterterrorism prosecutor said the group affiliated with Hamas had a role in inciting hatred.

He added that publishing cartoons about the Prophet Muhammad played a role in what happened with the teacher, as well as what happened to the newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

Investigations into the history professor’s murder showed that the perpetrator had contacted the father of a schoolgirl who had launched a campaign against the teacher via the Internet.

The father, who was also arrested by the authorities, had published his phone number on Facebook and exchanged messages with the Chechen killer Anzurov, 18 years old, on WhatsApp days before the crime, security sources told AFP.
