“There have apparently been similar attacks in Russia and China. While we heard a lot about the attacks in Cuba, we did not hear about these other attacks that harmed people who serve the US government, ”he said.
“Trump can’t find a single bad word about Vladimir Putin and praised Xi Jinping for unsuccessfully pursuing a trade deal, ignoring all other US interests that have suffered over China.”

Polymeropoulos spoke out because he believes the Trump administration, which expelled Cuban diplomats on the matter, abandoned dozens of US officials who fell ill from the attacks but never pointed a finger at Russia.
“It was a very difficult decision to speak up [sic];; I just wish that the United States government would do the right thing and provide adequate medical care to patriots who undoubtedly have suffered combat injuries, “said Polymeropoulos.
Pompeo insisted that all officers who reported injuries be attended to.
