APPLE’s iPhone 12 opened for pre-orders on Friday, giving fans the opportunity to purchase their gloves on the very first 5G iPhone.
The sale started at 1:00 p.m. UK time (8:00 a.m. CET) on Friday and sparked an insane online battle with stocks running out in most UK stores within an hour.
iPhone 12 – When will my new iPhone be shipped?
After the pre-orders for the first batch of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have expired, Apple has already opened the second batch for pre-order.
But while anyone who bought one of the cell phones earlier today will likely have it on their doorstep next week, latecomers will have to wait longer.
According to Apple’s website, anyone who buys one of the new iPhones now will have to wait until November 10th for it to arrive.
The Californian company says deliveries should arrive between November 3rd and 10th, 2020.

New Apple phones usually take at least a week to ship and often take up to two weeks.
This is partly because shipping coincides with the gadget’s official release date (if it’s available in physical stores), which almost always happens seven days after pre-orders start.
New iPhones – What Are They?
The iPhone 12 series consists of the latest and greatest smartphones from the Californian technology titan Apple and is the first company with 5G connectivity.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said: “Today is the day of a new era for the iPhone. We’re bringing 5G to the iPhone. ”
He added that 5G “will bring a new level of performance for downloads and uploads”.
In total, Apple announced four new phones during its Hi, Speed event on October 13th, broadcast live to fans around the world from its headquarters in Apple Park.
These are the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, and a palm-sized 5.4-inch iPhone Mini.

Apple is rocking this year’s iPhone versions.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro opened on October 16, while the two phones go on sale a week later on October 23.
The 12 will ship for £ 799 in the UK and $ 799 in the US, while the 12 Pro will go for £ 999 / $ 999.
The pre-orders for the beefy 12 Pro Max and the small iPhone Mini will be a little later and will be released on November 6th.
These two handsets ship on November 13th and start at £ 699 / $ 699 for the Mini and £ 1,099 / $ 1,099 for the 12 Pro Max.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro opened on October 16 at 1:00 p.m. UK time (8:00 a.m.CET).
Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone Mini will open at 1:00 PM UK time on November 6th (8:00 AM CET).
All pre-orders will be posted on the Apple website and will soon be available from major online retailers such as Amazon, Argos and the deals website Mobiles.co.uk.
All phones are also available in Apple brick and mortar stores on the respective release days. As a reminder, this is October 23rd for the 12 and 12 Pro and November 13 for the 12 Pro Max and Mini.
In addition, the major cellular networks in the UK and USA are introducing the new cell phones.
These include Vodafone, EE and Three in the UK and Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.
