iPhone 12 – When will my new iPhone be shipped?

After the pre-orders for the first batch of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro have expired, Apple has already opened the second batch for pre-order.

But while anyone who bought one of the cell phones earlier today will likely have it on their doorstep next week, latecomers will have to wait longer.

According to Apple’s website, anyone who buys one of the new iPhones now will have to wait until November 10th for it to arrive.

The Californian company says deliveries should arrive between November 3rd and 10th, 2020.

New Apple phones usually take at least a week to ship and often take up to two weeks.

This is partly because shipping coincides with the gadget’s official release date (if it’s available in physical stores), which almost always happens seven days after pre-orders start.

Apple unveiled its new iPhones on October 13, 2020 during its “Hi, Speed” live stream.

Typically, the company introduces new devices to the crowd during its annual September event at Apple Park.

However, the coronavirus pandemic has forced organizers to do things a little differently this year.

Apple manager Luca Maestri confirmed in July that the new iPhones would be pushed back by “a few weeks” due to the outbreak.

That meant the company had to host a rather subdued September event with no iPhone news, with headlines including minor updates to the iPad and Apple Watch.

The big guns – a handful of new 5G iPhones – were pushed back onto a storefront on Oct.13 to accommodate late production plans.
