Corinthians need to win the direct confrontation against Athletico Paranaense on Wednesday night, at 21.30, in the Arena da Baixada, to leave the relegation zone of the Brazilian Championship.

Looking at the top of the table, Corinthians are nine points behind Santos, the first team of the G6 of the Brasileirão – they are only three points apart for the tenth placed Vasco da Gama.
It is worth remembering that Timão has not won for five games and left the field victorious only in three rounds of the national competition. In addition, the team from São Paulo has one of the worst defenses in the Brazilian, with 20 goals conceded.
