An archbishop in a Louisiana city burned the altar of the local church after his priest was caught tapping group sex with two dominatrices on top.

A passerby, who later than usual noticed lights at the Roman Catholic Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Pearl River, saw the priest having half-naked sex with two women in corsets and high-heeled boots, according to a local newspaper.

The incident prompted Archbishop Gregory Aymond, who was “angry”, to post a video statement describing the priest’s actions as “demonic” and saying he had the altar burned.

“It is a very difficult time to be Catholic in the Archdiocese of New Orleans right now, to say the least,” he said.

“Many people experience anger, betrayal, and disappointment, and I feel just like my brother priests,” he said. “It is sinful and cannot be tolerated.”

The archbishop said the priest, Reverend Travis Clark, was immediately removed from the ministry and “will never serve again.”

Demonic

“His obscene behavior was regrettable. His desecration of the altar in the church was demonic and I am angry with his actions, ”he said.

The incident was filmed by the passerby who witnessed the crime to show the video of the police arresting the pastor and two women for profanity after finding that everything that took place was consensual.

Court documents describe a scene of role-playing, sex toys and stage lighting on the church altar on September 30th.

There was also a cell phone and a separate camera on tripods to film the incident.

One of the women involved in the incident is said to be an adult film actress who is also employed as a dominatrix.

She posted on a social media account on September 29, the day before the incident, saying she was on her way to the New Orleans area to meet another dominatrix, “and defile a house of God” .

In the Roman Catholic tradition, the altar is one of the most sacred church rooms. According to ecclesiastical or canon law, if holy places are injured, they must be “repaired by penitential rite” before they can be used again in Mass.

Days after the priest’s arrest, the archbishop went to church and performed a ritual to restore the sanctity of the altar.

Rev. Clark was released from prison along with the two women, although each of them could be sentenced to six months to three years in prison for profanity.
