In the first category, the participants were asked to sleep well and continuously, but with a sugar-sweetened drink when waking up in the morning.

In the second category, the participants were disturbed and woken every hour for five minutes, and in the morning, they were given a sugar-sweetened drink.

The third group participants also underwent interrupted sleep, and were constantly woken, and when it came morning, they drank strong black coffee 30 minutes before consuming the sweetened drink.

After the tests and analyzes, it was found that one night of disturbed sleep does not affect strongly, but the greatest danger lies in drinking coffee.

In contrast, consumption of black coffee increased the glucose (blood sugar) response to breakfast by nearly 50%.

The new study reveals that drinking coffee in the morning may help us get rid of drowsiness or lethargy, but it is not safe from a health point of view, because our body becomes less tolerant of sugar when we eat breakfast.
