Saudi Arabia celebrates its 90th national day on Wednesday, marked with an airshow, concerts and fireworks displays across the country.

Wednesday was announced as a holiday – and Thursday for private sector employees – and the air show will be the largest ever for National Day celebrations, with 60 military and civilian aircraft.

Saudi TV Channel will broadcast the event at 4pm local time (5pm UAE) and the festivities will epitomise the motto Himma Hatta Al Qimma, or Passion to the Top to reflect Saudi cohesion, loyalty and pride.
