Emma recently admitted it struggled to adapt to Olivia Colman’s “ice cold terrible” portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II.

“I hate to be asked what it’s like to play an icon. It makes it sacrosanct – the whole point was that it was touchable, ”she added.

The fourth series of the Krone begins in the late 1970s. The royal family is busy securing the succession by securing a suitable bride for Prince Charles, who is still unmarried at the age of 30.
