The Conners The 39-year-old star, who lost his youngest son four months ago, discussed the circumstances that led to his death.
“It wasn’t so much a fight [with substance abuse] for him, “he said on Tamron Hall Show. “He moved to a transition house after living with his sister for a while, and tried drugs that turned out to be bad drugs to which several people reacted very seriously.”
The actor welcomed Larry into his family as he began to age out of the care system.
“I think he picked me to be fair,” Fishman said of his relationship with Larry. “I have two biological children from a previous marriage and at the end of that marriage I met his older sister, Camille, who a friend of mine said: ‘She needs support and guidance.'”

On September 30th, Fishman paid tribute to Larry on National Son’s Day and shared a photo of his children.
