The mother of three from Llanelli joined the fifth series on the popular Channel 4 show to find someone she could possibly come to terms with in the name of science.
Shereen, 48, tied the knot with Solihull, 56, in hopes that they would be together forever.
However, she never expected to have to deal with negative comments from viewers after appearing on the show.
In an interview with Wales Online, she explained how harsh criticism from online fans made her fear for her own safety, but the ones that hurt the most were the comments describing her as an “embarrassing mother”.
She said, “Those who hurt the most called me an embarrassment as a mother and how ashamed my daughters must be to have me as a mother.

“Luckily I gave my daughters the tools to understand that these comments are from strangers and not to take them to heart, but to ignore my only purpose in life to be the best mom I break for a few days can. ”
The reality TV star went on to admit that emotions were higher than ever and she was afraid to step one foot outside.
She added, “After two days of crying, I was actually afraid to leave the house because I feared being mistreated while running or shopping.”
