Phil Collins believed he found it when he asked Orianne Cevey the question in 1999.

The couple quickly tied the knot that year, and their unhappy marriage collapsed in 2008 after raising two sons together.

And although their breakup was meant to be forever, the Genesis star reunited with Orianne four years ago as the two were determined to give their spark one more try.

In fact, Phil even moved Orianne to his Miami mansion to start over.

But just four years later, their union suddenly ended bitterly when Orianne tied the knot with a struggling toy boy guitarist.

Over the weekend, TMZ.com reported that Orianne, 46, remarried two months ago in Las Vegas and tied the knot with Thomas Bates, 31.

TMZ.com has claimed that the news came as a shock to him.

After the £ 25m divorce in 2008, the two went their separate ways, thinking their union was over for good.

Orianne continued to tie in with Charles Mejjati, while Phil noted that he and his ex had made a mistake and was ready to give their union one more try after raising their sons together in Miami.

Orianne’s marriage to Charles began to collapse in 2015, and Charles later complained in court records that his wife left him up and dry for the singer.

Things between the two began to warm up as Orienne recovered from surgery on a disc in her neck – which left her partially paralyzed by complications.

Phil was there for them throughout the recovery process and in the time they spent together they worked to be family again.

Orianne then moved to Phil’s Miami mansion, where they all lived together.

The brunette beauty confirmed that 2017 was the right decision, saying, “Our breakup was the wrong decision.

“I’m going to call Phil my husband again. We’re so close that it doesn’t matter whether we’re married or not. We have always been very close because of the children. Only last year did I realize that he is actually the man of my life. ”

Meanwhile, the singer added, “We went back because we realized we’d made a mistake.

“Many people don’t have this chance or don’t give themselves this chance. Our young sons Matthew and Nicholas are like a dog with two tails. You are just so happy.

“They have their mom and dad back together, so it’s a good place to be right now.”

But just three years later, it seems Orianne ended the business with Phil when she had a wedding to a guitarist in Vegas.

The news shook Phil, mostly because he claims he had no idea she saw anyone at all.

Phil, who is currently in London with his Genesis bandmates preparing for a reunion tour, is now taking legal action to evict Orianne from his Miami block along with her new husband.

A source told The Sun: “This came completely out of the blue for him.

“Until he found out she was married to someone else, he was still in a relationship with Orianne and they lived together in Miami.”

“Orianne went back and forth to Vegas and said the trips were related to her jewelry business. Then Phil found out that she had secretly married.

“He left the US in the first week of September. He just wanted to get away. He said, “I’m done with it.”

Mirror Online has asked Phil’s rep for a comment.

And after Orianne heard Phil’s plans to evict her, she brought her lawyer on the case.

Her attorney Frank Maister has stated that she plans to take legal action against any legal action taken by her ex in order to remain desperate at the Miami mansion.

The couple have two sons together; Nicholas, now 19, and Matthew, 15, and the musician gave her a £ 25 million divorce settlement after they split in 2008.

After the divorce, she married Charles Mejjati, but divorced him in 2016 when she revived her relationship with Collins.

TMZ reported that Collins told her to leave the Miami mansion, but she declined and asked to renegotiate her previous divorce settlement.

Phil’s marriage to Orianne was actually his third overall.

His first marriage was to Andrea Bertorelli, whom he met at the age of 11 when they were both in drama school.

He adopted their daughter, Joely, and they became parents to a son named Simon before they divorced in 1980.

The rock star married Jill Tavelman in 1984 and they welcomed actress Lily’s daughter in 1989.

They separated in 1994 and divorced in 1996 before marrying Orianne in 1999.
