Yousfi called for opening a sufficient number of beds and providing oxygen to face the peak of the fourth wave of Corona, which, according to him, is witnessing a significant acceleration in the number of injuries.
He added that the current rate of family occupancy in COVID-19 departments has reached 50%, noting that the states most affected are Algiers, Oran, Blida, and Bejaia.
He also confirmed that the majority of infections are currently in the “delta” mutator, pointing out that “Omicron” injuries will represent the majority later, due to its rapid spread.
