The pioneers of social networking sites in Tunisia criticized Zaidi’s decision to continue these activities, and considered it a “rebellion” against the higher decisions of the Tunisian state.
It is worth noting that artists in Tunisia organized a protest in the City of Culture, on Monday, to denounce the decision of the Prime Minister, in which the Minister of Culture Walid Zaidi participated.
Al-Zaidi said that his ministry did not issue any statement, nor did it announce the prevention of demonstrations and cultural activities, and confirmed that he oversees the Ministry of Culture, and that his ministry is not the Ministry of the implementation of prime ministerial communications.
