It will also enable hosts to prevent anonymous users from joining the video meeting, limit the number of people who will participate in the meeting, mute any meeting participant, or end the group video call at any time they decide.
Google indicated that regular Google Meet users will be able to take advantage of the new features, and it will not be limited to Google Workspace users as it was previously.
It is assumed that users of the application from computers and smart devices operating on Android systems will receive the new features as of August 16, while users of iOS devices will receive these features on August 30.
