The French telecoms regulator, ARSEP, announced that the tender proceeded to 2.8 billion euros (3.3 billion dollars) from four operating companies.
She added that the fifth generation networks of these companies could start their commercial operations on November 18, but indicated that it is likely, due to some official procedures, that companies will be able to launch the service between 20 and 30 November.
