Date: 03 November 2020 Air Arabia, the first and largest economic carrier in the Middle East and North Africa region, won first place in Air Finance magazine’s list of the top 100 global airlines, following the magazine’s evaluation of the performance presented by these companies according to several financial and operational measures, including total revenues and net income , EBITDA margins, fixed fees, liquidity, leverage, fleet size and average life. Air Arabia ranked first for the first time.

The list assessed the performance metrics and financial condition of all companies during the last 12 months, from March 31, 2019 to March 31, 2020. Air Arabia outperformed 99 other global airlines after scoring the highest average in all of the metrics taken into consideration by the report.
