Flydubai won the award for Best Low-Cost Airline Serving the Middle East at this year’s Business Traveler Middle East Awards.
This rating, which was voted on by the public and readers of the magazine, reflects flydubai’s ability to provide comfortable, reliable and safe travel services during these unprecedented times in the aviation industry.
After the temporary suspension of passenger flights in March 2020, flydubai focused its efforts on operating full cargo flights to enable the movement of essential goods and support governments and authorities in repatriation efforts.
After restarting its regular flights on 7 July, the airline completely redesigned the passenger experience to enable travel in a safe environment that minimizes crew and passenger contact.
It has also provided free insurance cover for travelers against COVID-19 to encourage more people to travel with ease, and has partnered with local health service providers to offer passengers a PCR test at reduced rates.
