This came after Emirates Steel obtained the Product Recycling Certificate (RCC) and the Health Product Declaration (HPD) from SCS Global Services, the leading American company in the field of auditing and certification of conformity, in addition to the certification of the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) that it is distinguished for. The company’s products, becoming the first industrial company and manufacturer of iron and steel in the Middle East region to meet the requirements and standards of the LEED system and be certified by the Green Business Accreditation Foundation.
This achievement is the culmination of Emirates Steel’s commitment to support sustainable development, as the company seeks to increase its market share and enhance its participation in the implementation of green building projects, which will constitute another competitive advantage for the company and add quality to its products and its customer base.

A health product declaration certificate provides a framework for reporting product contents and associated health impacts, while an environmental product declaration helps define environmental information about the product’s life cycle and guides consumers to the need to consider environmental standards when selecting goods or services.
