He pointed out that the number of licenses that entered into production during the first half reached 29 licenses, with a total investment value of 2.6 billion dirhams, compared to about 32 licenses during the same period last year, which reflects the stability of the industrial sector growth in Abu Dhabi, despite the pandemic, Noting that the office is currently working on converting 10 industrial licenses from the ‘under construction’ status to the ‘production’ state.

Muhammad Munif Al Mansouri, Executive Director of the Industrial Development Bureau, affirmed the office’s keenness to continue its efforts in support of the industrial sector, in a way that enhances performance indicators and the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi’s economy regionally and internationally.

He referred to the licenses statistics mentioned in the report, as the total number of industrial licenses issued in Abu Dhabi until the end of the first half reached about 1,608 licenses, distributed over 829 licenses with a status of ‘production, 539 licenses with a status of’ under construction, and 240 new licenses’ for industry pioneers, explaining that The new industrial licenses’ industry leaders, constituting 14.93% of the total number of industrial licenses issued and registered at the level of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

He stated that Abu Dhabi acquired 21 new industrial establishments, which entered production during the first half, while Al Ain City and Al Dhafra Region registered 4 new industrial establishments each.
