The current session, which was recently concluded, witnessed the participation of 14 startups in the last phase of the program, as they reviewed their projects in front of the main leading companies in Dubai joining the program, and 6 plans for partnerships and agreements were announced between these companies and emerging projects participating in the program that provided innovative solutions to the challenges. The percentage of participation in this session of the Business Partnerships Network program from outside the UAE was 75%, which reflects the attractiveness of the emirate to emerging companies, and its reputation as a global capital for establishing and launching emerging projects, as Egypt ranked the highest percentage of participants, amounting to 33% of the total participations, followed by the UAE with a percentage 25%, and then India at 19%.

Four leading companies in the emirate of Dubai participated in the current round of the “Business Partnerships Network 2020” program, namely Sumitomo Corporation Middle East, Emirates Post Group, Emirates NBD, in addition to Accenture.

During the online event, the main companies evaluated the 14 startups that qualified for the program, as those who qualified for the program presented their innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by the four main companies.

Sumitomo Corporation Middle East has agreed to cooperate with “Healthigo”, a specialist in the field of health technology.

The Emirates Post Group has chosen the logistic services provider, CamCom, and Accenture has agreed with 3 start-ups, namely, NEARMOTION, Intuitio, a provider of digital mapping and tracking solutions, and Gokaddal, the developer of software solutions. Innovative devices to enhance the health and safety of travelers, in addition, Emirates NBD has chosen to collaborate with the “Verismart” project, a blockchain platform that aims to automate data access control between organizations.
