Two Indian varsity students were killed in a tragic road accident in Jebel Ali in the early hours of Christmas morning (Wednesday, December 25). The students Rohit Krishnakumar (19) and Sharat Kumar (21) study in the UK and the US, respectively, and were in Dubai for a holiday.
Family sources and a social worker handling the case said the accident took place while Sharat was dropping Rohit home after they met last night. "They left home late last night and met with the accident on their way back," said a source.
Both students were killed on the spot. However, the details of the crash are presently unknown, said family sources. Rohit and Sharat are originally from Kerala and have completed bits of their education in Dubai. Rohit is said to be a former student of GEMS World Academy.
